Gloria School Visit: Learning and Growing Strong As One

From 24 to 26 February 2026, CHIJ (Katong) Primary warmly hosted students from Surabaya for a meaningful school exchange programme. Through classroom learning, cultural activities, and shared experiences with their IJ buddies, students built meaningful connections and learned from one another.

Working alongside their buddies, students engaged in conversations and collaborative activities that strengthened their communication skills and confidence. These interactions fostered greater cultural awareness as students shared about their school life, traditions, and experiences, deepening their understanding and appreciation of different perspectives.

Through cultural workshops and heritage learning experiences, students developed a deeper appreciation of Singapore’s multicultural identity while forming new friendships. The programme provided valuable opportunities for students to bond, learn together, and grow in global awareness.

This enriching exchange brought students together in the true spirit of being Strong As One, forging friendships and meaningful memories.
